Do I need an account?

No. The apps work fully on your phone without one. An account is the backup: it keeps your cellar and every scan safe if you switch phones, and it opens the web app with the same data.

I bought Premium in the app. Does the web app know?

Yes. Sign in on the web with the same Apple or Google account and your Premium is there. The other way around works too: Premium bought on the web unlocks the iPhone and Android apps once you sign in.

Yes. Vino AI reads the label itself: producer, appellation, vintage, grapes, alcohol. It combines that with what is known about the estate and the region, so obscure bottles still get a full profile. When a label is unclear it tells you what would help, usually a straighter photo of the front label.
