How does the wine scanner work?

Point your phone camera at any wine label, or pick a photo from your library. Vino AI identifies the wine and writes a full briefing in seconds: grape variety, region, tasting profile, serving tips and food pairings.

Vino AI is free to download on iPhone and Android, and your first two scans are free so you can try it on a bottle you know. Premium unlocks unlimited scanning, unlimited sommelier questions and your cellar on every device. Web plans are $4.99 a month, $24.99 a year, or $79.99 once for lifetime access.

Do I need an account?

No. The apps work fully on your phone without one. An account is the backup: it keeps your cellar and every scan safe if you switch phones, and it opens the web app with the same data.

I bought Premium in the app. Does the web app know?

Yes. Sign in on the web with the same Apple or Google account and your Premium is there. The other way around works too: Premium bought on the web unlocks the iPhone and Android apps once you sign in.

What can I ask the AI sommelier?

Anything about wine: what pairs with tonight's dinner, similar wines to a bottle you liked, serving temperature, how long to age a bottle, or what makes a region special. The sommelier answers in ten languages.

Does it work on Android and iPhone?

Yes. Vino AI is on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android, and the same account works in the web app.

What wine should I drink with my meal?

Try the free wine pairing tool on this site for the classic matches, or photograph your dish in the app and let the sommelier rank three wines for exactly what is on the plate.

Does it work on wines it has never seen?

Yes. Vino AI reads the label itself: producer, appellation, vintage, grapes, alcohol. It combines that with what is known about the estate and the region, so obscure bottles still get a full profile. When a label is unclear it tells you what would help, usually a straighter photo of the front label.
