Delete your account

From the app

1. Open Vino AI on your iPhone or Android phone.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account and synced data.
4. Confirm. The account and its data are deleted right away.

On the web

1. Sign in at app.getvinoai.com.
2. Open Settings, then the Danger zone.
3. Choose Export my data first if you want a copy, then Delete account.

What is deleted

Deleting the account permanently removes everything we hold for you:

• Your name and email address, and the sign-in link to Apple or Google
• Every scan you synced, with its wine details, notes and sommelier conversations
• Your cellar, bottle counts and favorites
• The label and dish photos you uploaded
• Your devices and their sync history

This happens immediately, not on a schedule, and it cannot be undone. Nothing is kept for later use, and no backup copy is retained beyond routine database backups, which roll over within 30 days.

What is not affected

• The app keeps working. Scans stored on your phone stay on your phone. To remove those too, clear the history in the app or uninstall it.
• Subscriptions are billed by the store. If you subscribed on the App Store or Google Play, cancel it there, because deleting the account does not cancel the subscription. A subscription bought on the web can be cancelled from the billing portal in Settings before you delete the account.
• Purchase records. We keep the minimum billing records that tax and accounting rules require. They are not linked to your scans or your cellar.
